KENMORE, NY – The Kenmore Village Improvement Society (KVIS) invites area residents to its first annual Groundhog Day Celebration Event, Thursday, February 2nd starting at 7:00 a.m. at the Village Green located at Delaware Avenue and Delaware Road.
The Groundhog Day Celebration Event includes music, free coffee, hot chocolate and a special ground hog treat complements of Paula’s Donuts. There is also a “Name the Groundhog” contest, which can be entered by right here. “Neighbors are welcome to stop by on their way to work or school to enjoy the festivities and discover first-hand whether we’ll welcome spring or enjoy six more weeks of what surely will go down in history as one of the warmest winters on record,” says KVIS President, Melissa Foster.
